disgusted : This is a horrible article. All food is healthy in moderation and you do need to eat fat to function properly. stop promoting disordered eating with your barely researched opinions.

Anonymous : Very true! People need fat for a healthy brain. Eating low-fat leads to a lot of problems… not just physically, but mentally. The brain needs fat, and when it doesn’t get enough, people get depression.

TLD : @andrea, Seriously? At some point, we all laughed when we heard about how our bodies would change “at 25,” then “at 40,” then at “65.” Eventually, we all stopped laughing. I’ve modified my diet over ... See more the years, and right now I’m settled on eating whatever I want, just in much smaller portions for breakfast and dinner and substituting enormous salads (with a little bit of lean protein added and just a drizzle of dressing) for lunch. I even have dessert almost every day, just really small servings. If I cook too much and have lots left over, I divide everything into single-serving portions and freeze them. These are the things we have to do.

Jo Ann : I’m a nurse and the best thing I have ever learned and would love to share with all of you is the cardiac diet; Doc’s tell heart patients to shop only the outer parameters ... See more of the store, try your hardest to not go down the isles, that’s where most of the junk is! Good rule to remember:)

Anonymous : Yup! Plants and Animals are all we need! :) It’s what our earlier ancestors ate — they didn’t have cereal, bread, pasta, or candy bars — and they were strong, healthy, and did not suffer ... See more from dementia, diabetes, cancer, or any of that stuff. Google “the paleo diet” … so good for your heart and health! :)
