Park your car a few blocks apart from the place you are going to and take to brisk walk to your office, grocery store, or a shopping mall. Intend to walk at least 30 minutes every day. At work, use some time during your lunch break to take a refreshing walk in a nearby park. If the weather is cold, you still can walk in your favourite mall.

Hi im 15 and at a weightloss plateau. I feel like my metabolism is messed up and dont know what to do. I eat extremely healthy and for the most part, barely any fat. I exercise every day for about an hour and also do acrobatics (Circus Arts). I just cant seem to lose weight though. I gained 10 pounds in 2 months and now am trying to lose it, but my body doesnt seem to want to. Any suggestions?
Hii... I'm trying to lose weight. I know I'm not 'fat'; I'm a female, 142lb, 5ft. 7 and aged 20 - my BMI's roughly 22.5 so I'm actually a healthy weight and I'm not at all trying to become really skinny or anything. However, since I started university over a year and a half ago I've put on weight. Before I started uni I was 127lb and I was pretty happy at that weight. I put on the excess 15lb last year in the first 8 months of being there, although once I realised how much weight I'd put on I did make the effort not to put on any more, which is why I haven't actually put on any weight since about May last year. BUT I CAN'T LOSE IT. I've managed to stop myself putting on any more weight. I owe that to the fact that I now weigh myself pretty regularly so I know if I'm gaining any weight or not. But no matter what I do, I just can't lose it. This week I've been to the gym 6 days in a row, burnt over 1000 calories each time (not including the mile and a half walk to and from and the fact that I work in a busy restaurant and I'm always running around), and not burnt anything. Infact, I think I gained half a pound! I haven't changed my eating habits this week because I can't afford to (£5 to live on this week doesn't buy you a lot more than bread and milk) but surely without changing my eating habits - and I definitely don't eat more than 2000 calories a day - I should have at least lost a little bit of weight?! I go to the gym a lot generally but this week I've been able to go more since we've had half term and I didn't have lectures. I know the issue is the food I eat. I'm not looking for a quick fix... I want to lose the extra 15lb before the middle of may which is 2 and a half months away, that's essentially about 13 weeks so I'm not looking to lose more than about 1lb or so per week. But I'm a student and don't have a lot of money to buy good foods. I work in a restaurant and get a free meal at the end of my shift but it's a buffet which sells around-the-world cuisine... as you can imagine stif-frys, curries, fatty pasta sauces don't help. If I don't eat at work then I don't eat because I can't afford it really. I also get really hungry so have to eat something stodgy to fill the void otherwise I feel faint and my stomach grumbles which I rather embarrassing. 1lb per week surely can't be too hard to lose in reality, right?! Please help me... :D
I am 24 years old and am having a hard time losing weight. I have three children and since I have had them I just can't get rid of the weight. I am 5'3 and weigh 187lbs. Ok well im in basket ball, and alot of people in it are pretty tall qnd fit. I usually call myself as average but i dont knkw any more! Im 11 years old and i way 87.4 pounds, that is after i drank 2 glasses of milk. Im trying to get taller but still be healthy but i thinm im going a little fat! Plz help me!!!
I'm 6'2 and 175 pounds and 16 years old wanting to reach atleast 165. As kids we have higher metabolisms, so their for we can lose weight much faster. I tend to eat crackers in the morning "Austin peanut butter crackers" and eat another pack of crackers at break or even at lunch. So i eat atleast 3 packs of Austin peanut butter crackers each day. That's about 300 to 400 calories already. To me i feel fine and they feel me up pretty quick. People say you should eat atleast 600 calories a day because 500 calories a day is the anorexic limit. I also jog for 30 minutes a day around the block. I usually eat a 70 calories apple too after exercising. I use to weigh 200 pounds. The sooner the better. When we become adults our metabolism starts going slower and slower, unless that is if you workout but knowing adults they work for about 7 hours a day then have more things to do as soon as they get home. If you stick too a 600 calories diet a day and seems fine for you like it is for me you can lose about 10 pounds in just a few weeks. I know you should lose only 1 pound a week but we're kids so we're different not adults. I think if your completely fine with the diet your on and it doesn't bother you go for it.
