This is great information to know! I love drinking water and had no idea how much it actually does for the body! In a typical 8 hour work day I find myself drinking 3750ml of water and then I drink about 1500ml in the evening. I just do this out of habit but it's great to know that a lot of water can do so much good!

in regards to not liking the taste of water or not liking to drink it--instead of drinking these "fruity" water drinks, is it ok to add slices of lemon & cucumber to water? i made a pitcher full of water with just a few slices of lemon & cucumber & kept it in the fridge.it was so good! i had no trouble downing the whole pitcher full & i am one who does NOT like the taste of water; cold, cool, or any other way.i know this combo doesnt sound so good but give it a try. it's really worth it in my opinion!

hiya i recently quit drinking soda, and switched to water. and i mean i was drinking as much as 15 sodas a day. i work in a restaurant where it is easy to not realize how much soda i drink. i kept track and was like WOW thats a lot. a small tip a friend gave me is to eat some fat free crackers or some nuts, makes you thirsty and you drink MORE water must say my skin has never looked better and i have lost about 2 inches off my waist mmmmmmm water
