If you are looking for a place that is filled with lots of lovely attractions, then Tallahassee, Florida would be a great place to visit. The Tallahassee Natural History Museum is a great place for visitors to go. You also have Alfred Maclay State Park, Saint Marks National Wildlife Preserve and Natural Bridge State Park.

Phoenix is just one of those capitals that you have to visit, at least one time in your life. There is some lovely scenery in this area. There are many great places for hiking as well. Don't forget to pack in some fabulous comfortable shoes.

In Santa Fe, it isn’t just beautiful scenery that you will get to see. You are also going to get to enjoy lots of fine dining restaurants and don’t forget about shopping! There is a very good mall there that one of my best friendsloves shopping at.

Oh yeah, Albany, New York. I say that everyone has to go toNew York at least once in their lifetime! New York is practically the shopping capital with all of the fine clothing stores. If you love Italian cuisine, then you will definitely find some in New York. In fact name any kind of cuisine and you'll find it there!

Good old Austin, Texas. I couldn’t have possibly left this capital off of my list! There are miles and miles of beautiful land here. If you want to see how things are done in the outdoors, then this is definitely the place to visitas they are all about the great outdoors...and yummy barbecues!

I have never gotten a chance to go to Cheyenne, Wyoming, but I have heard that it is beautiful and full of mountains. The pictures I have seen of the area are stunning. I have also heard that they have a pretty good museum in Cheyenne.

Many do not realize that Honolulu, Hawaii is in the USA! This is a great place to travel to, so of course I was going to put it at number one. If you love miles and miles of beaches, then that is exactly what you are going to get. Here, everything is Hawaiian style! Coconuts galore!

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I think you're confused... Albany is NOT New York City. They are a five hour drive away from each other. As a New Yorker, and I mean New York City, I'm a little bit offended by the ignorance and lack of research here. If you're going to talk about Albany, then talk about things that are unique to Albany, not NYC.

What would be the one city you'd recommend to foreign visitors?

I'm from Phoenix, I honestly don't see the appeal. If you do visit Phx, DO NOT COME IN THE SUMMER. On a daily basis our highs are well in the 100's. It is considered to be a nice, cool day if the high is 95 or even if it's 100. However, come in the winter and you'll be in highs in the 50's or 60's. I honestly don't know what there is to do down here, I've never seen it from an outsiders view.
