I love Philosophy make up, and this didn't disappoint. As well as smelling gorgeous, its easy to rub on and contains so much goodness that skin looks healthier and happier from the very next day. It even improves skin condition on a more permanent basis, helping skin to restore moisture and protecting it from the harshness of everyday life. You can even use it everyday! I'll be adding this to my beauty routine.

2. Kate Somerville Intensive Exfoliating Treatment

This is a lot more expensive then most exfoliators, so I had high hopes for how it would perform. It did give me a good complexion, and left my face feeling soft and healthy. I wasn't amazingly impressed for the price, though, until a friend borrowed it and instantly stocked up on boxes of it! She said it soothed and combated acne, and even left her skin feeling healthy and young. It contains plenty of amazing ingredients and smells gorgeous, too!

3. MD Alpha Beta Daily Skin Peel

This doesn't just aim to give a good complexion and boost skin health, it also claims to smooth wrinkles, improve skin fitness, boost vitality and give skin an incredible radiance. And, I have to admit, it did make my skin feel soft, healthy and radiant. I was concerned about how small the pot is, though, and its quite expensive.If you're looking for anti aging products, this is definitely the mask for you. If not, it might be a bit too expensive for your needs.

4. Laura Mercier Face Polish Gommage Facial

Price: $30 at sephora.com
This has modest claims, but it made my skin feel amazing! There was no worrying tingling and it absorbed fast. My skin looked radiant, smelled divine and even my complexion was boosted. There's enough to last you a good few months, and using it once a day delivers gorgeous results. For only $30, I'd say this is a great skin care product!

5. Bliss the Youth as We Know It

This claims to "renovate, exfoliate, oxygenate, hydrate, reduce wrinkles and increase firmness," but how much of this is true? It contains 10 anti ageing ingredients, an amazing moisturizer, and MMP inhibitors... and it felt lovely to apply. Its a thick, creamy formula which chills skin and feels like a professional face mask, and I was impressed with the results! My skin feels amazing, even if I forget to apply for a few days, and my complexion looks healthier and clearer. This is worth the money, especially if you worry about the effects of ageing.

6. Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Renew and Reveal Facial Cleanser

Price: $26 at sephora.com
This is a much more organic scrub, which instead of containing chemicals to boost complexion, simply promotes cell turnover for natural beauty. It is also a brilliant moisturizer, and is the best scrub for protecting against environmental damage. Within days of starting the routine, my skin looks lighter, brighter and softer, and I'm using much less make up too. This is a must have!

7. Image Ageless Total Resurfacing Masque

An exfoliating blend of Glycolic and Salicylic acids resurface the skin, gently sloughing off dead cells. A lightening blend diminishes brown spots making it truly a home mini-peel! This mask that really is a facial scrub and lightener in one is by far one of the best beauty products I've ever tried. So if you are after baby soft, silky, smooth skin and refreshed skin tone, this product is a must.
