Believe it or not, while there are some cons about being married, that many of you may have in your mind right now, there are plenty of pros as well. October 24. 2010, will make it 7 years that I have been married. I definitely believe there are alot of benefits of being married, which makes this blog on 8 benefits of being married so easy for me to write. This blog is based on those who have a happy relationship with their partner.

8. You’re Willing to Spend the Rest of Your Life Together

When you arehappily married, you are willing to spend the rest of your life together. This is definitely the biggest benefit of being married and it is such a happy feeling knowing that this is the wonderful man you are going to be waking up next to for the rest of your life.
7. Someone You Know Completely

When you are married, you have someone that you know completely. At least, I knowmy husband completely and I trust him one hundred percent. I know, in some marriages there are secrets, but again, I’m basing this blog on a happy marriage.
6. Don’t Have to Date Again

When you are married, you do not have to date again. I mean, sure, you go on dates with your husband or wife, but you never have to go on a date with someone you do not know again. The search is over and it was fun while it lasted but this is it!
5. If You Have Kids, You’re Both There for Them

When you have children, having both the mother and father raise them together is a big accomplishment. I look forward to raising my kids with their real father – my daughter will always have him there.

When you need someone to talk to, if you’re in a good marriage, then your husband or wife will be there to listen. I enjoy how my husband is always there when I need a shoulder to lean on and to cheer me upwhen I'm down.

3. The Feeling You Get Every Morning

Every morning, when you wake up, the feeling you get is wonderful! When you look in their eyes as the sun shines through the window, both sitting there blinking, staring at each other trying to wake up – that is definitely something to look forward to.
2. The Sex
Okay, the sex is a good reason. You don’t have to worry about having sex with someone that has had sex with someone else the night before... at least, not in a happy marriage you don’t. You can have sex anytime you want. Awesome, right?

The love is the number one reason it is nice to be married. It’s always great to feel loved and to be able to love someone. I know, many of you say you do not have to be married to be in love, but marriage opens the doors to a whole new love – at least it did in my book.
