1. Angel from “Angel”

He may be playing a relatively hot FBI agent in the current series “Bones,” but David Boreanaz was even hotter as vampire-with-a-soul in “Angel,” a spin-off of cult favorite “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” The show also featured another hot vampire, Spike, but Angel was my favorite, with his deep, soulful stares and glowering silences… I don’t think anyone thought he was hot when he was in his “vampire” mode, but when he was in his human mode, he was smoking-hot!

2. Deacon Frost from “Blade”

I know we’re probably not supposed to be rooting for the bad guy vampires in this movie trilogy, but Stephen Dorff was inarguably hot as Deacon Frost. Hotter, even, than half-human, half-vampire Blade himself. Their fight scenes were the best, weren’t they?

3. Edward Cullen from “Twilight”

Though I’m not a fan of the “Twilight” series, I have to admit that Edward Cullen, played by Harry Potter’s Robert Pattinson in the movie trilogy, is pretty hot. All he needs is a haircut, and to stop being all glittery, and I’d be his Bella!

4. Michael from “the Lost Boys”

I’m not sure we could really consider him as a full-fledged vampire, but he did end up vamping out in the final fight scene with Keifer Sutherland. He was brooding, sexy, and somewhat dark, even as a human pre-bite. Who didn’t want to be his vampire lover, Starr?

5. Eric Northman from “TrueBlood”

I have always loved Louisiana, and never suspected it could be inhabited by the sexiest vampires ever! The show follows Sookie, a barmaid with ESP, and the vampire residents of her town. Sexiest of all of these vampires is the incredibly wicked Eric… oh la la! So hot!

6. Cash from “Kindred the Embraced”

This very short-lived television series, loosely based on the White Wolf RPG, featured an entire cast of hotties, but especially smoldering was Cash, played by Channon Roe. He was the bad boy romantic, in love with a girl from a rival clan of vampires. Yum! Come to think of it, most of the vampires in this series were sexy… why’d they cancel this show?!?

7. Damon from “Vampire Diaries”

I was really sorry they killed off Boone in the first season of LOST, mostly because he was so sexy! Naturally, then, I was thrilled that Ian Somerhalder is starring in “Vampire Diaries” as Damon, one of two brother vampires after the heart of a high school girl. He’s so hot!

8. Selene from “Underworld”

Kate Beckinsdale in skin-tight black leather, playing a vampire who lives to hunt werewolves. Any man on earth will tell you Selene is the hottest of all the vampires, especially when she’s fighting… I’d love to look like that…! I wonder who her personal trainer is?

9. Queen Akasha and Lestat De Lioncourt from “Queen of the Damned”

This is another movie stocked with hot vampires. First there’s Lestat. Let’s see: he’s a rock star and a vampire. Yeah, sexy! And then of course there’s the title character, sizzling hot, played by the late Aaliyah. She was wicked, unforgiving, and so gorgeous!
