And Finally, Here’s My Personal List of Cities and States That Must Find a Place in Your Itinerary

Himachal Pradesh in northern India boasts magnificent vistas of the Himalayas and offers adventure sport enthusiasts the best in canoeing, kayaking, mountaineering, trekking and base jumping.

Bangalore in the State of Karnataka epitomizes the good things in life. Whether it is software giants or the deliciously cool weather, this city is now a brand name for sophistication, success and trend setting, in international playing fields.

Mumbai in the State of Maharastra is India’s Hollywood and New York rolled into one. From celluloid heroes to the hundreds of homeless, Mumbai captures the glitter, the grit and the grinding hungers of the nation.

The State of Kerala is, I believe, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Rippling brooks and cascading waterfalls will greet you at every turn during the monsoons. The coastline is among the best in the world. It’s not for nothing that the State has the title ‘God’s own country.’

So don’t waste any more time! Pack your bags and don’t look back. India is calling!

Hey Grace a nice article. But you are forgetting one more destination i.e. Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is also a popular state in India. The state is known for beautiful hill stations and adventures destinations. Uttarakhand falls in the lap of Great Himalaya which makes it an amazing tourist place. Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri are some world famous pilgrimage destinations at here. If you talk about wildlife, Jim Corbett National Park is the first national park in India at Uttarakhand. Thanks

Hello, My spouse and I are looking into taking a trip to India in February. We will have two weeks there, do you think it's possible to see the four places you mentioned in one two week vacation? Do you know of any packages where we can tour all four places, all we know right now is we definitely want to go to Mumbai. That one is a non negotiable. Any information would be appreciated. Nicole

India is a nice place. The photos are great. Id like to know more about their culture and beliefs.

I love the beach.

India seem like a great place to visit from the photos in this blog. Remind me of the Caribbean island of Dominican Republic where I visited an adult vacations resort called charlisangels. The resort was beautiful and services were great, I look forward to learning more of India for future references.

I hope you can do top Philippine Vacation too for a nice summer getaway.

India is a best place to visit. We were there on our honey moon three month ago and it was great! One week at Goa and 2 weeks to travel trough the country. Lot of positive emotions.
