10 Funniest Songs Ever ...

I do love a good giggle, so I wanted to share some of my favourite funny songs with you. Some are original, some are parodies, but all make me laugh every time I hear them. I hope you find them as funny as I do.

1 Weird Al - ‘One More Minute’

Weird Al is best known for his parodies, but we can all identify with this original ode to an ex-partner.

Funniest line: I’d rather clean all the bathrooms in Grand Central Station … with my tongue/than spend one more minute with you

2 Tom Lehrer - ‘National Brotherhood Week’

Does National Brotherhood Week still exist? It did when this song was written more than 40 years ago, and Lehrer had it right – people love to hate each other, always have, always will.

3 Denis Leary - ‘Asshole’

Politically incorrect from head to toe, comedian Leary doesn’t care who he offends. Though most of the people lampooned in this song probable wouldn’t realize he’s talking about THEM.

4 Allan Murray and Sean Haines - ‘Harry Potter in the Hood’

How they managed to get away with this, I’ll never know. Harry Potter turned into a gangster rapper, and JK didn’t sue?

5 Weird Al - ‘White and Nerdy’

Weird Al is a genius and cannot put a foot wrong. We must all have laughed at those white rappers desperate to be black. The video is pretty funny too.

A spoof of the Britney Spears song devoted to geeks, and a kind of companion piece to "White and Nerdy."

7 Bob Rivers - ‘Osama Got Run over by a Reindeer’

A parody of ‘Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer’, which is not exactly a serious song itself.

Funniest line: Al Qaeda found him Christmas morning/face down on that mountain pass/there were hoof marks on his turban/and a broken reindeer antler up his ... Ho ho ho ho ho!
