Surely, you love a massage. Right? If you have a husband, then have him massage you slowly. I love getting massages from my husband. I don’t dig going to places and having massages done by other people though, but if that is your thing, then go massage that soreness away.

6 Take a Hot Bath

I like to take hot baths. It seems to really relieve sore muscles. There is nothing like having a nice long soak in a bubble bath. When doing this, you are going to increase the circulation. I like the nice, soothing effect that it gives.

Don’t exercise like today is your last day. When you do exercises, you should do it smoothly. You are not superhuman, you can’t do superhuman things and if you push yourself too hard every time you exercise, you will be hurting your body.

4 Wake up Those Muscles

Before you start exercising, it is important that you wake those muscles up. Do some stretches before you begin your exercise routine. I always stretch my muscles before exercising.

3 Meditation

Meditation is great for the mind, but it is also great for the body. Believe it or not, this can be a great way to relieve muscle pain. You will be relaxing your body and focusing your mind on something else other than the pain you have.

As a word of advice, if you have an infection in something like your tooth, then do not apply heat. Heat only brings the infection out. In that case, you would apply ice, even if heat makes it feel better. If you just have aching muscles, then applying heat is a good idea. So, invest in a heating pad!

1 Quit Smoking

Quitting smoking is a good way to get rid of your pains. Smoking contributes to the atherosclerosis that decreases the flow of blood. Besides, aren’t you tired of smelling like an ashtray? It’s a nasty habit!
