Hi! I have oily hair, as well. Seeing some of the more expensive products on here had lemon in them, I remembered a method I used to use on my hair that worked. All I did was put lemon juice in a spray bottle and I sprayed it to my scalp about 10 minutes before I took a shower. In the shower I just rinsed out my hair with warm water and then used shampoo. I was completely surprised to see that, after I blow-dried my hair, my scalp was much less oily than before. Hope that helped :)

Just like everyone on here I have oily scalp, hair, but my ends are dry and breaking off. So I have tried so many shampoos our there. First I found, dont use any shampoo that isnt clean in color. So no Cream looking formulas. I have found 3 that work and one of them is all natural, the second I do believe is all natural and the third i just love anyways. First is from Lush I love Juicy. The Second one is from ABBA Detox Shampoo, the Third is from AG Hair Peppermint Wash Shampoo. I use conditioner on my hair, but only the ends. I have never used conditioner all over my hair. My hair get oily by the end of the day, so I wash my hair in the morning. I hope this helps someone out there. I switch up my shampoo every 3 months. I use the ABBA one Once a week. It will get everything out of your hair, FYI, it smells gross.

I am going into high school, and have had oily hair for years now, i usually get my shampoos for oily hair at walmart (which there is only a couple of items on the market) I used head and shoulders for oily hair... the next day my hair was just yucky, and the shampoo smelled sharp and disgusting! I've been using Suave oil-free for a while now, it is the only shampoo that will completely heal my hair of its oiliness. I try as much stuff as I can, and I find it ridiculous to pay 50.00$ for non moisture shampoo! Today I recently found this shampoo by "PERTS"? and what do I see? "FOR FINE OR OILY HAIR" personally I was shocked.... so we bought it and I just washed and blow dried my hair... i guess now it all rests in tomorrows hands. and after taking care of my hair, it did seem different, but if all else fails, Suave oil-free is always dependable and i'll always count on it. by the way my hair is very fine.

I am currently using the American Crew shampoo and the results are outstanding, i also use Lush jumping juniper, sometimes i feel like Lush works better but i can totally advice the American Crew Shampoo also, it is #7 on this list, it does not damage the hair and one of the best around.
