Padded bras are a Godsend for flat-chested women everywhere. Until then they had to resort to stuffing their bras but with padded bras, the problem was solved. Plus no one had to worry about ensuring the bra was stuffed appropriately; the manufacturers took care of that.

If it weren’t for microwave ovens, women would have had to cook fresh food for every meal. Further even if they prepared it in advance, they would have a mountain of dishes to wash after reheating everything. What in the world did women do before microwave ovens?

Of course disposable diapers have to find a place on this list. Until they were invented, women didn’t just have to put up with some of the more gross aspects of looking after a baby but also had to deal with sleepy irritable babies who were constantly disturbed by wet nappies.

Cell phones allowed women to talk to other women whenever they liked. They no longer had to hold back on their frustrations, concerns or excitement. Girlfriends were available at a touch of a button.

Until cocktails were invented, women were forced to drink wine, as the only other options were harder liquors. Thanks to cocktails, we now have a wonderful way to enjoy an evening with an interesting drink at our fingertips.

Before contact lenses, women who wore glasses never got to show the world their beautiful eyes. Many a romance and long-term love story was born following the invention of the contact lens.

10. Hair Removal Products

Hair removal products like razors, wax and epilators have made women everywhere more elegant and refined. Imagine our lives without them, wearing shorts and sleeveless tops with unsightly patches of hair everywhere.

The ten inventions mentioned above have in some ways given women everywhere a new lease on life. It has eased our anxieties and enabled us to live more comfortable lives. Thank God for all of them!
