My Comment: If you’re looking for a gloss/lipstick combination, this is it. I tried Smooth Hold in the color Oh My!, which is shimmery and beautiful brown-beige. I love the fact that it almost looks like I’ve applied a gloss over the lipstick, so it gives me that extra shiny look.
Don’t be fooled, though… Smooth Hold is not sticky like a gloss at all. It’s creamy, not drying, and lasts and lasts.

Sorry, I must be dense, on the top 8 lipsticks, you start listing at 8 and move down to #1 and the last 2 say nothing about their staying power. So which one has the most staying power? #8 Color Design Sensational Effects Lipcolor Smooth Hold by Lancome or #1 KissKiss?

Revlon is very good, i like natural colors, Revlon has that one, and also loreal is extremely good. But i love Lancome if it is not expensive
I love Revlon too. They usually have great shades for my skin tone. Guerlain always has the best most delicious looking packaging!

I’m sorry they don’t ship there. Have you looked for local distributors of the product? Ebay is always a good bet I think. Since you’re someone who has to have lipstick on for so many hours in a day, I’d suggest better quality products just to be sure :)

I got some nice color lipsticks from my friend as a gift. one is lancome and other three are mac. I think mac works me than lancome. it is difficult to apply on lips, it doesn’t have smooth satin complex.
I have tried almost all brands of lipsticks so far except Guerlain. I like variety and I like color. I buy couple every season (I toss out the older ones when I buy new ones). My experiments have uncovered that I react to longstay type of lipcolors…my lips become blistery. So, now before I buy a lipstick, I would like to try out a sample for 3-4 days prior to purchasing it. Thats really important as the brand names are not cheap by any means, so doesnt make sense to buy and toss it.
So, my question is to Katie, that I am tempted to try out Guerlain and Chanel lipsticks that you reccomend. However after
all these years of buying some lipsticks that have not worked, I am a bit more conscious of my budget especially since I am not working anymore. How/Where do I get the lipstick samples ?
