12 Things to Love about Jake Gyllenhaal ...

His dad is a director and his mom is a screenwriter. Of course, you can't forget the ever-so-delightful sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal. The sheer cuteness of Ramona, Maggie's daughter, is talent in itself.

Well, sort of. He is a descendant of the noble Gyllenhaal family of Sweden. Despite this prominent lineage, Jake has been quoted saying that he feels Jewish more than anything else. His mom is Jewish.

At a young age, the value of hard-earned money was instilled in beautiful, beautiful Jake. He spent his summers working and even had his Bar Mitzvah at a homeless shelter.

Jake has helped in the Rock the Vote campaign, making the youth more aware of how their vote can shape the nation. He is also active in charities and other groups aimed for social change.

By golly, he sure can. Here are some of my all-time favorite movies: Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain, and October Sky. Common denominator? Jake, of course.

He has admitted that he likes to cook. I'm not so sure if he is good at it but any guy who tries is all right in my book. Admit it, you will gladly eat any food offered by Jake, especially when he says he made it just for you. *swoon!*

He hangs out (used to, in case of Heath) with the people of Hollywood I'd die to meet. I am talking about Natalie Portman, Heath Ledger (bless his soul), Matthew McConaughey, Lance Armstrong, and Jennifer Aniston.

When he was still going out with Reese, we saw many photos of him hanging out with Ava and Deacon. Jake is also often photographed with niece Ramona.

Many people are convinced that he is gay. This is what he has to say about that: "You know, it's flattering when there's a rumor that says I'm bisexual. It means I can play more kinds of roles. I'm open to whatever people want to call me. I've never really been attracted to men sexually, but I don't think I would be afraid of it if it happened." Gotta love that attitude.

Aside from acting, he has a future in woodworking, too. He admitted in one interview: "I made my mum a 10ft table. It's a mahogany-cedar sort of craftsy table. I'm really proud of it." I don't know about you but I cannot resist a crafty guy.
