7 Great Menus' for the Grill ...

I love to grill out and my family grills quite frequently during the summer. Sometimes we try new recipes; sometimes we simply throw a burger on the grill and eat. But I’m always looking for great ways to dress up a hamburger. Keep reading for some of my favorite recipes for summer grilling.

1 Grilled Teriyaki Sandwich

1/3 c teriyaki sauce, ¼ c orange juice, ¼ c ketchup, 3 TBS oil, 2 med. onions cut ½ in thick1 lb. beef, cut 1 in thick. Mix ingredients together and marinate for 8 hours in ½ cup of the liquid. Grill onions for 8 to 10 minutes, using a skewer or aluminum foil. Grill steak for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once. Toss onions with reserved sauce and serve meat and onion on buns you have grilled.

Another easy and good way to enhance your BBQ is grilled peppers. Coat the entire, whole bell pepper with olive oil. Grill, turning on all sides, until blackened and slightly blistered. Place in a bowl and cover in plastic wrap for 15 minutes. When cool, discard skin and remove stem and seeds.

4 BBQ Bacon Burgers

Mix 2 TBS Worcestershire sauce, 3 TBS maple syrup, ¼ cup minced onion, 2 ½ tsp, sea salt, ¼ tsp allspice, black pepper, and paprika with 2 lbs. ground chuck. Handle as lightly as possible and don’t compress meat to heavily. Grill for 2 minutes on each side.

5 Hawaii Burg

Grill slices of fresh pineapple for 2 minutes each side. Brush with a mixture of 2/3 cup sweet chili sauce, 2 TBS Japanese soy sauce, 1 1/2 tsp ginger. Brush hamburger patties with extra sauce half way through grilling time.

6 BBQ Chicken

This is a no brainer! KC Maserpiece BBQ Brown Sugar is my favorite. Brush onto chicken a couple of minutes before chicken is finished. Placing it on the chicken any sooner will cause it to burn.

7 Baked Potatoes

Slice potato and onion. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer in aluminum foil with pats of butter. Seal foil and cook on the grill for 20 minutes. Cooking time depends on how many potatoes are in the foil pouch. Check periodically to prevent burning.
