I don't think at all that smoking is cool, but here in Portugal we see a new habit that I find even worst than smoking regularly which is smoking socially, like it will give you some style if you smoke at parties. We see that specially when you enter to college. And that's bad, because many of the people that start to smoke "socially" and swear that they know what they're doing and tell everyone that they can control it, after a while the truth is they're addicted! An advice: you can be and look cool without such health damaging acessory...

You can't really be "caught" smoking if you're not trying to hide it. Bravo to all the celebs who aren't ashamed to smoke. If more of us smokers stood up for our rights, there wouldn't be so many smoking bans.

People have a right to smoke and shouldn't be criticised for it. Us smokers don't have a big list of non-smoking celebrities on the internet with little captions slagging them off. Some people just enjoy a cigarette, the same way as some people enjoy equally unhealthy things, like eating an entire cake to themselves, going on tanning beds, we're all guilty of one wee unhealthy habit.
