Advil

All the stress of rushing around, plus your nerves could bring on a terrible headache! The last thing you want to do is say your “I do’s” with a pounding migraine, so be sure and pop a few Advil if you feel the slightest ache or pain of any kind coming on! And share with your bridesmaids should they feel a little pain coming on. You don’t want them to be moody on your big day!
Tampons

Ugh! No one wants to think about getting their period on their big day. But as stressful as the past few months have been for you, it’s better to be safe than sorry. If you did get yours and had nothing with you I would be awful worried about that crisp white dress! Don’t forget how many other women will be there at the church. You may be a lifesaver to your poor future sis-in-law!
Frequently asked questions
Tide Stick

These little things have come in quite handy many times before! If you spill something on your clothes, simply dab the tide stick on there and it usually comes right out! If it doesn’t come completely out, it at least keeps the stain from setting so it can be easily removed later on. Your best bet is to apply all makeup, perfume and hairspray before you put on your dress.
Static Cling Spray

Can you just picture it, here you are, walking down the aisle only to realize your dress has horrid static cling? Or maybe it happened to one of your bridesmaids! With all the satin fabric and pantyhose it’s most likely inevitable, so bring some dryer sheets or anti-static cling spray to make sure you don’t fall victim to this nasty fashion trend!
Safety Pins

Do I dare even mention the word “rip”? I’m not trying to jinx, I promise! Safety pins can be useful for many things though. You can use them to pin your dress up to your bra if it keeps sliding down, or to pin your sash in place. Use them to keep stubborn tulle decoration bows pinned together around the church or for any other random issues that may occur. Bring a number of different sizes!

Double Sided Tape

If you have a strapless dress this is a must-have item! Double-sided tape helps to keep your dress from sliding down and revealing things you intended on saving for your groom! You can also use it to keep decorations in their place or to pick up lint off of dark fabrics.
Band-Aids

In addition to small cuts and burns you or someone else might get from curling irons or scissors, don’t forget about blisters from new or tight shoes! Band-Aids can be a life-and foot-saver! Bring many different shapes and sizes because it’s best to be prepared.
Panty Hose

I hate it when I get a run in my pantyhose! And could you imagine if the only pair you brought to the church had one the size of the Rio Grande? Ugh! Not fun! So bring an extra pair-or two- just in case you’re not the only one who has this problem!
Now that you have a few basics together, you’re ready to sit back and enjoy your special day! If an emergency does present itself, try not to be too upset and distraught over it. Do the best you can to fix it and then go on with your day. Your photographer can digitally touch up photos if needed and your guest will be forgiving and gracious!
