Let’s face it; we waste A LOT of time on the Internet. Here are some of the best ways I’ve found to utilize that wasted time whether it’s at work, class, on the couch, or driving down the road.

We’ve all seen the crazies at the Wal-Marts in our respective towns. Well, here’s a website dedicated to nothing but those people who make our shopping visits unforgettable.
Some of the games on this website are like drugs. You seriously won’t be able to stop. I highly recommend, for example, that you stay away from Zombie Soccer.
Frequently asked questions
This website is great because the content is generated by users and games only stay within view as long as they’re being played so you rarely have to worry about getting sucked into old or boring games. Alien Hominid actually started here and was what lead to Xbox 360’s popular download, Castle Crashers.
You have to be careful with Wikipedia for a couple of reasons. First, you click over looking for one thing, and then half an hour later you realize you’ve clicked through twenty more links and have ended up grossly off topic. But it’s ok, right, because you’re learning? Wrong. Here’s the second reason this site is misleading, anyone can edit almost any of the threads. True, they do have numerous admins that correct blatant mistakes, but that fact is, you can’t fully trust Wikipedia for accurate information.
If you have this site bookmarked, good luck getting anything done the next time you pick up your computer. I bet I’ve played all three versions of Mini-Putt 100 times, and don’t even get me started on all those escape games…

This site is treacherous; whoever thought of it is an evil genius. Every town in America has one, even if it’s tiny, and the purpose is to give the people in that town a forum to discuss different aspects of their respective community. This is not what Topix is used for. Unfortunately it’s used to anonymously bash people in the area. The thing is, if you’re from a small town you almost always know some of the names in the threads, and it’s hard to stay away. Go to the site and type in your zip code. I guarantee you’re stuck there for at least half an hour.
This site is tons of fun. It’s basically a compilation of text messages from all over the country sent and received from the previous night of partying. If you have a particularly crazy text, go to the site, type out the text, and give them your area code, then sit back and see if you made the cut. And yes, that’s right. You can search by area code and find out if there’s any craziness from your neck of the woods. I promise you there is.
No matter what you come to this website to see, whether it be a 10 second clip of a panda sneezing or an hour long lecture from a professor, you will end up clicking around to all kinds of nonsense for way more time than you meant. Sometimes you find Internet gold. Usually you just find kids ranting into their webcam. The plus side of this site is that you can basically find any song or clip of all time on a whim. I honestly don’t want YouTube to ever go away. How else will I be able to show my kids what the theme song to Doug sounded like???
Here she is, the mother of all time wasters. We all spend inordinate amounts of time on this site, and it’s arguably justifiable. We all have a few far away friends or family members that we might not keep up with or even know where they are these days if they weren’t on our friend lists. This site gets out of hand once you start living inside Farmville or Zooworld or whatever the latest game is. Really, there’s nothing I can say about this site that you don’t already know so be a good American and go see the Social Network, then come home and add the guy that sold you your ticket.
Think you spend too much time on the Internet? If you have two or more of these website bookmarked, and I promise you do, then you probably do. It’s ok.You can just keep making excuses like the rest of us. Besides, everyone’s too busy with Facebook to notice, anyhow.
Where do you spend most of your Internet time at?
