Of course, you have probably already heard this one, but I know that some of you are fresh (teenagers) that may have never heard of this trick. Baking soda is the most common of all the home teeth whiteners out there. Take a little bit of water and add a drop of baking soda to make it pasty. Brush your teeth using your toothbrush. Let it stay on there for a couple of minutes, then gargle to rinse. It is okay if you accidently swallow it, because it is just baking soda. The downside is that it does not have a good taste.

Okay, so the baking soda tastes too bad for you, right? I don’t blame you. Then try lemon and salt. This is a good whitening product. This will involve you mixing lemon with an equal amount of salt to make a paste. Rub it all over your teeth one time a day before you go to bed.

I have read that people use bay leaves in order to whiten their teeth. Take some dried bay leaves and crush them up. Mix it with an equal amount of dried orange peel that has also been crushed. You can use water in order to make a paste or you can leave it in the powdery form. Rub the paste or powder on your teeth and use it as a whitener.
