Print dresses are set to be huge this season! From the subtle to the super-loud, they dominated the catwalk, and fashion collections are packed with cute prints. It’s a trend I love...effortless yet oh-so-chic, and it’s so easy to personalize your look, so whether you love the girly look or want to channel a more masculine style, there will be a perfect print for you. I’ve already started stocking up...here are my favourite print dresses so far!
1. Oasis Parrot Prom Dress
Price: $109 at asos.com
I love this stunning dress…the sweetheart neckline is perfectly on trend, and I love the 50’s style skirt..it’s set to be one of the biggest trends of the year! It’s super flattering, and will look great with or without a tan…you can even choose to wear it on its own for a simple yet elegant look, or dress it up with heels and a statement necklace. And the parrot print? It’s gorgeous. The perfect mix of colour and cuteness!
2. ASOS Spaced Floral Chiffon Dress
Price: $60 at asos.com
Chiffon was another key Autumn-Winter trend, but it can be a hard look to get right. This dress does it perfectly…it’s floaty and full of elegance and movement, without looking too much. I love the flattering wrap-front top, and the print is pretty yet understated, meaning you could wear it to any event. Team with black heels and a shrug for easy Winter glam.
3. ASOS Oversized Check Shirt Dress
Price: $53 at asos.com
The lumberjack trend took the catwalk by storm, and this masculine check shirt is a great way to wear the look. Wear over tights, with a belt to show that you do have curves. Be careful not to pull it too tight, though, as the key to the look is keeping the oversized, masculine look. Finish it with a gilet and fur lined boots for a warm and stylish outfit!
4. ASOS Embroidered Shift Dress
Price: $60 at asos.com
I love this dress…the shift shape is so easy to wear, and looks effortlessly stylish in black. The embellished flowers really complete the look, though…they look gorgeous yet muted, so you really can wear this as a casual dress or dress it up easily. I love the slightly different tones of colour, too, which really complete the look. Once you’ve tried this on, you’ll never want to take it off!
5. Gestuz One Shoulder Leopard Print Maxi
Price: $202 at asos.com
This one shoulder maxi dress is perfect for making an entrance…the leopard print pattern is divine, and it’s monochrome look is so classy, and so on trend. The fabric is gently draped at the shoulder and on the waist, giving you a slender silhouette and creating a very elegant illusion. Team with heels and simple jewellery, and let the dress do the talking.
6. Mango Butterfly T-Shirt Dress
Price: $63 at asos.com
I love T-shirt dresses. They are so simple to wear, which is perfect if you are having a low-maintenance day! This stunning Mango version is a creamy white colour, which an eye catching butterfly print down the front. It’s comfortable, flattering and sexy, and all it needs is some heels to be a complete outfit! A must have.
7. Ted Baker Autumnal Flame Dress
Price: $217 at asos.com
Bright colours and twisty patterns were all over the catwalk, and Ted Baker have perfectly channeled the look with this dress. I love the divine petrol blue colour, and the gathered neckline and exposed zip keep it flattering and looking so on trend. It’s so soft and comfortable, too…
8. Motel Floral Hook and Eye Bodycon Dress
Price: $58 at asos.com
Floral prints are super easy to wear, and are always in style. Motel has given them a modern new look, though, teaming bodycon fabrics with a stunning print and hook and eye closings to create a gorgeous year-long dress. The curved neckline looks amazing, and I love the three quarter length sleeves, too! It’s perfect for wearing with denim and heels, or teaming with a gilet.
I love these print dresses…I want them all! There are so many different takes on the look, and the designers really have been busy creating flattering AND gorgeous dresses. They will be my Winter wardrobe staple! Have you spotted a gorgeous print dress? Please share it with me!
