I like playing World of Warcraft and so does my 6 year old and husband. We enjoy playing this game together. I know many of you reading this blog may not know much about World of Warcraft, but I want to tell you a bit about it and why I like it. This is basically something for those who have never played it before. Below, I am going to give you 7 tips on playing World of Warcraft …

In this game, you will be able to pick from ten different races. I have characters for every race. You have Gnomes, Dwarves, Humans, Night Elves, Orcs, Draenei, Tauren, Trolls, Undead and Blood Elves. My two favorite are the night elves and the blood elves.
The class you pick will all depends on the race you have chosen. You have Death Knight, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior. My favorites are the Death Knight, Hunter, Mage and Paladin.

Just like how we have eBay online, World of Warcraft has an Auction House. It’s a lot like an eBay. You can sell and buy enchantments, armor, weapons, necklaces, pets, mounts and much more. You should watch the auction house, because sometimes, people will sell something that is worth a thousand gold for one gold. This is perfect for buying and reselling.
I know, you may want to take the shortcut and buy yourself some Wow gold. However, this is definitely not a good idea. Blizzard tells you in the beginning that this is against the rules. Any account getting caught doing this will be banned.
In this game, you will be able to choose from two primary professions. You have Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Herbalism, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking, Mining, Tailoring, Skinning and Inscription. Two go together in some way or another. For example, Herbalism (picking flowers) goes with Alchemy (making potions out of the flowers).

For questing, you should not do quests one at a time. Do as many quests as you can find before you head out. As soon as you get into a new region, the first thing you do is go to the main town to get the quest’s. If you believe the quest is going to take too long, then abandon it and work on another one, the XP and the gold you get from it probably is not worth your time.

Many times, players will look at DPS, that is damage per second, on their weapons as being the big thing. This is not right. Abilities like % to critical and damage bonuses will be calculated in accordance to the speed of the weapon or the damage of the weapon. DPS is only an average. The ability of the character isn’t used in the computing.
Here is an example:
Weapon A: a heavy, slow weapon that deals 110-130 damage, but has 80 DPS.
Weapon B: A weapon that is fast and has a damage of 75-85 with a DPS of 85.
Which one do you think is better? Because Weapon B has a higher DPS, players will automatically think it is better. If you are a warrior and you like to use your Mortal Strike ability, then this isn’t a good idea. This is because with Weapon A, Mortal Strike would give 220-260 damage, while on weapon B, it would only give 150-170 damage.
I could continue forward with these tips forever, but I think you get the picture, right? So, what do you think about the game?
