I find that going on a brisk long walk really helps to turn my day into a good one. You may find that a walk does not work for you so try jogging or another form of exercise, this should really help to take your mind off of any problems that you may be experiencing as well.

Do Not Let the Small Things Get to You

Again this links very closely to tip number five, often something really good happens to us but then we receive a minute bit of bad information. This bad experience, no matter how small really gets to us. Work on not allowing this to happen, create a visual box in which to put away all bad moments and focus on the good.

Sometimes it can be really difficult to accept that the good and bad often come hand in hand. It is not possible to go through life only experiencing the good, we experience both. The problem is that we often spend more time thinking about the bad things, so we need to be able to focus on all of the good that happens.

How can you have a good day without speaking to your loved ones? In my opinion loved ones can turn any day into a good one; they know how to cheer you up when you are down and make you even happier when you are already cheerful.

Have a Good Laugh

Do not be scared to laugh out loud when you think of a happy memory and no one else is around or at a funny joke told by someone else. Laughter is a big part of having a good day. The more you laugh, in my opinion, the more attractive you appear to other person which is always a bonus.

Keep a Daily Diary

By writing in a diary daily you will be able to see on what day you felt happy and what it was that made you feel happy. If it was something that you did that made you have a good day then every now and again you could repeat that thing.

Many of us have different definitions of what makes up a good day, to some it may be not having anything go wrong at work and to others it may involve spending quality time with families.
