I don’t know about you but I really love cooking, mixing different flavors, herbs and spices together to create a perfect combination. I especially like grilling food because meat maintains its tender, juiciness and sometimes it is a much quicker method of making meals. I know the temptation when you come in starving and want to rush around making an immediate dinner. Well slow down, turn the grill to the temperature needed and leave it for at least ten minutes to warm up. If you are grilling on a barbeque then you will need to allow a good twenty to thirty minutes.

One thing that you do not want to do is to undercook any meat but on the other hand you do not want to scorch food, so that it is inedible. This really depends on what you are cooking but I generally tend to set my grill somewhere between medium and hot heat for that perfect temperature.

Too much fat can cause the fire to grow out of control. It is something that many people often forget, I am one of them, so make sure that when you are cooking any meat on the grill cut away the fat or have a pan that catches the fat. You do not want to end up catching alight.

As soon as you have cooked your food, make sure that it is served because grilled food, especially meats can become cold very quickly and they loose their taste. Where grilling food is so quick everything else can be prepared in advance.

As mentioned above there are 7 top tips for grilling food, these are by no means exclusive but they have helped me immensely. Always remember to prepare yourself fully and nothing should go wrong.
