Cushing Syndrome
This is also known as hypercorticism. It is a hormone (endocrine) disorder that is caused by high levels of cortisone in the blood. What causes it? It can be caused by tumors that are producing cortisol or adrenocorticotropic hormone. It can also be caused by glucocorticoid drugs. Usually, it can be cured by going through surgery. It is not confined to humans. It is common in domestic dogs and horses.

This one is popular. It is an acute inflammation of the brain. Patients who are dealing with this suffer from headache, fevers and weakness, Also, it is common to have seizures. The symptoms are caused by the brain’s defense mechanism. It is trying to get rid of the infection.

It kills between one to three million people. The majority of them are young children that are in Sub-Saharan Africa. This is normally transferred by the bite of a female Anopheles mosquito.
