1. Bran Pancakes with Ricotta
We all love our traditional delectable pancakes, but a healthier version of the same can give us both - taste AND good nutrition. You can take this dish two times a day. This dish contains-
• ½ cup egg white
• ½ cup flakes of bran
• ½ cup sour nonfat cream
• 1 ¾ cups ricotta nonfat cheese
• 1-tablespoon substitute of sugar
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1 pinch of salt, and
• Butter-flavored cooking oil
How to prepare:
Whisk egg whites, bran flakes, sour cream, salt and sugar substitute.
Spray lightly butter-flavored cooking oil on the cooking plate and let it heat up. Ladle thin layer of batter on the pan and cook till batter gets set. Turn the pancake to cook the other side until till it becomes golden colored.
Cover the prepared pancake with cinnamon before serving.
**My experience: **Serve this dish in breakfast with ham, bacon or sausages. Superb! It is a real treat.
