There's really no end to the fact that we are all working towards having a more fit and fab bod ā€“ but in reality, you can actually make the most of the body type that you already have.

For example, if you're a petite blond, you can't expect to have longer legs through exercise! Instead, you should focus on a goal of maximizing your workout to fit your body type.

Here's a few examples from WomenFitness.net:
Hourglass Figures
Lucky you! If you have an hourglass figure, focus on cardio and resistance exercises.

Pear-shaped Figures
If you have this body type, work on balancing out the top half with the bottom half of your body ā€“ and this can be done through aerobic exercises.

Apple-shaped Figures
Aerobics is also recommended for this body type ā€“ work on the lower half of your body to balance out your chest and shoulders.

Ruler Figures
This is probably the most versatile of the body types ā€“ just work on your problems areas with the type of exercises that you prefer.

Uh-oh. I think Iā€™d better hit the gym and do something about my ruler figure. =)
