It may not be the red carpet at the Oscar's or the Emmy's – but the ensembles worn by the stars definitely deserve a nod, they all looked stunning!
The event is ELLE Magazine's 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute, held last week. Let's see who made it whose outfits shined and bombed:
First, there's Anne Hathaway in a **Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 short-sleeved metallic red striped suit. The "**Rachel Getting Married" star paired it with a matching metallic sash – and lovely two-toned platform shoes. She looked really sophisticated!
Another actress in a pair of fab two-toned heels is Kerry Washington, who wore a blush pink and nude Calvin Klein Resort 2009 ribbed bandeau dress.
My next pick is gorgeous Kate Beckinsale **in a **Derek Lam **gown. Other actresses who stole the show include **Nicole Kidman in a green Prada Resort 2009 dress with pink heels for contrast; Jenny McCarthy in Gucci, Eva Mendes in a sequined tunic dress; **Angie Harmon **in a grey evening gown.
The not-so-stunning include Halle Berry in an odd Roberto Cavalli ensemble which did not do anything for her figure! It was just blah. Jennifer Lopez' sheer Dolce & Gabbana dress also looked way off – we can clearly see her bodysuit underneath!
