The Book of Eli

Summary: In the future, across the wasteland of what was once upon a time America, a lone warrior has to fight in order to bring civilization to knowledge that could be the key to the redemption and save the future.

Summary: Jacki Chan who plays Bob Ho is an undercover operative for the CIA. He decides to give up his career in order to marry his girlfriend. However, before he is able to do that, he will have to go on one more mission.

Daybreakers

Cast: Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Claudia Karvan
Genre: Action/Adventure, Drama, Horror, Suspense/Thriller
Summary: This takes place ten years after a plague has changed most of the population of the world into vampires. A blood shortage is starting to cause panic and gruesome mutations begin to take place in the undead community. Edward (no, it’s not Edward from Twilight), it’s Ethan Hawke, plays a vampire hematologist who is trying to come up with a blood substitute.

Summary: It all takes place during the year 1910 when Leo Tolstoy, a famed novelist and his wife Sofya disagree over the rights to Tolstroy’s literary legacy. The wife believes the husband should bequeath them to her when he dies.

Fish Tank

Director: Andrea Arnold
Cast: Michael Fassbender, Katie Jarvis, Kierston Wareing
Genre: Drama
Summary: For Mia, a fifteen year old boy, her world changes when her mom brings home a boyfriend. Will Mia like her moms new boyfriend? Watch this drama filled movie unwind around Mia, the new boyfriend and her mom.

There you have it, five new movies that you can go to the theatres this Friday and watch. I think number five is going to be a good movie. Of course, anything with Denzel Washington is going to be good. What do you think? Which one do you plan on seeing?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I read about Fish Tank in Marie Claire and I seriously want to see it. I also want to see Leap Year. so one depressing movie vs. one happy ending movie (supposing it will be) which one to choose which one to choose..hmm

I am intrigued about the Book of Eli. I will definitely watch that.

Interesting movies! But I guess it will take a while until they will be running in our cinemas :)

GOing to see daybreakers today!

Wow I just watched the video of Fish Tank...very sad, but powerful story...The Last Station looks pretty good great actors and actresses in it. And The Book of Eli looks pretty good too.
