Oprah has helped countless amounts of society in her time; she is a multi-talented female with such a warm heart and deserves so much respect. She has been through so much in like, and has still managed to come out on top.

Hilary Clinton has such a big role to play in America’s political party, for all the work she does, and all the lives she has changed; she deserves to be the second iconic woman.

Michelle Obama also does a lot of work for the United States. She has done so much charity work, at the same time as looking younger than me, and holding a family together.

JK Rowling has inspired so many people’s lives with her writing, and entertained millions for years. She is a truly talented writer.

Whitney Houston’s strength is what makes her an icon. She has been through drug allegations, a divorce and released many-a-fine album. All before her comeback. She is a role model for women as she shows the strength and integrity that is needed to be a woman in today’s society.

Cheryl Cole may not be that famous in America but she definitely deserves a mention. She has suffered many problems with her relationship, that have been advertised everywhere a person could think of. Broke away from a group of her best friends to start a solo project and has been a victim of criticism for years. Whilst being a style icon and being true to herself the entire time.

I admire this women, simply because of her unique personality and style. She is a talented, beautiful woman, with fresh ideas and a kind heart.

Madonna has been in the media for as long as I can remember. She has constant new ideas, and ways to strive through her career. She has been the victim of criticism; yet she kept her chin up and her head held high. Madonna is a true role model.

Beyonce has been inspiring us for years! Her music, style, courage and kind heart are what make her the icon she is. Beyonce has been through several break ups, albums and fashion statements; and we still love her today as we did back then.

Miranda Cosgrove is the perfect role model for teenagers, she’s talented and beautiful. Yet knows her morals and beliefs and spends her time enjoying her childhood.
