What makes a song romantic to you?

For me, it's all about the lyrics and the emotions they evoke. If a song tells a love story or makes you think of someone special, that's what makes it romantic.

Do you think music videos add to the romance of a song?

Absolutely! A great music video can really enhance the feeling of a song. They visually bring the story to life and sometimes even make the song more memorable.

What's your all-time favorite romantic song or video?

That's such a tough one! I think I'd go with 'All of Me' by John Legend. The song is beautiful on its own, but the video adds so much more emotion. Just perfect!

Do you prefer classic romantic songs or modern ones?

Honestly, I think both have their charms. It's like comparing timeless love stories with contemporary relationships. Both have their own appeal!

How do you usually find new romantic songs or clips?

I often stumble upon them through playlists on streaming apps or sometimes friends recommend them. And of course, articles like this one are a great source too!

There are certain things we New Yorkers can count on as we prepare for the winter months that lay ahead: cold temperatures, snow, gusty winds, shorter days, and a general longing to stay indoors.

However, a few things you can also count on during winter months are warm fire places, spiced apple cider, guilt free lazy weekends, and the attempt to date the same person all winter in an effort to not have to troll for men in the freezing cold.

Now in case you’re wondering if men feel the same way, I have been told a number of times (by men) that a winter romance is desired by them too. Even if you’re attached, keeping the romance sizzling all winter long can be a little taxing. Music seems to make everything a little better, so make sure your iPod is up to date with a “romantic songs” play list.
