When you put the newborn to sleep, it is important that you put him or her to sleep on her back. Do not put them to sleep on their side or tummy. This is to reduce the risk of SIDS.
Changing Diapers
Newborn babies sleep, eat and dirty up their diapers. Sometimes, they will do all three at the same time. You should change the newborn baby at least one time every two hours up to 12 or more times in a day. Changing the diaper before feeding may not be fun, because you will have a cranky baby, so try changing the baby in mid-feeding. Stopping in mid feeding to burp and change the baby is the best approach.
