Max Factor 2000 Calorie Straight Brush Mascara Expert Review ...
By Lesley

Max Factor believe we should all indulge ourselves at least once a day, so they have created this calorie-tastic mascara that they claim will pump up the volume. We couldn’t wait to dig in…

Type of Mascara: Volumising
Colours Available: Rich Black, Soft Black, Black Brown & Depp Auburn
Price Range: Cheap
Product Claims:
Get a dramatic look with 2000 Calorie Mascara - it volumizes lashes up to 200%. Water resistant and smudge-proof hypoallergenic formula is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
My Experience:
I was surprised by the name of this mascara, but I’m all for indulgence so I couldn’t wait to try it! My first impression was that the formula was quite thick, but I was hoping this would equate to thick, voluminous lashes and not clumps, I mean that’s what Max Factor promise isn’t it? Unfortunately it’s an empty promise! The forst application needed some combing to get back on track and the second application created more favourable results but not the volume or thickness I had hoped for. Perhaps 2000 calories just left my lashes feeling like they had just ate Christmas dinner and had no energy left!

this is the best mascara i have ever come accross, I have really long eyelashes and it does a great job of defining them and plumping them up...I would rate it much higher!

I agree with this 100%. Not only did this mascara not work, it was too dry. I put it on and it looked like I had no mascara on at all. I was waiting for the 2000 calories, nothing happened. I will not be buyin Max Factor again.

the 2000 calorie mascara is my all time favourite!!!!!!! and I have tried many mascaras - Max Factor and other brands. however, I think lashes are different, what is great for one person, is not necessarily great for all.
