Jessica Simpson has a new pad in Vegas. The Newlyweds star closed on her luxurious one-bedroom suite at the Palms Place in Las Vegas today.
An insider at the hotel tells PageSix.com that Jessica’s boyfriend, Tony Romo, “has not seen the unit yet.” In fact, our source reveals that “the purchase of the condo was initiated when Jessica was still married to ex-husband Nick Lachey,” but the Dukes of Hazzard star kept the condo in their 2005 divorce.
Prices for condos at Palms Place start at $600,000 and go up to over a million for a penthouse.
Jessica’s new crash pad features 1,200 square feet of living space, hardwood and marble floors, 9-foot ceilings, multiple balconies, a living room with fireplace, plasma TVs and a king-size bed.
Among the exclusive amenities offered at Palms Place, a 47-story hotel, condo and spa, are a 50,000 square-foot pool and spa enclave and two-story Drift Spa, featuring Las Vegas’ first-ever hammam, an elegant Turkish spa. Drift will also feature the exclusive Vegas location of famed tanning studio Sunset Tan, as seen on E!’s hit reality series of the same name.
If the 27-year-old tires of the spa, tanning or ordering from the 24-hour room service menu, she can easily walk over (on the SkyTube, an enclosed walkway) to the exclusive Palms Resort and Casino, which features world-class gaming, entertainment and dining. Other celebrities Jess can count as neighbors are Eminem, Paul Stanley of KISS and Hulk Hogan.
“We are thrilled that Jessica is among the first to purchase at Palms Place,” says Palms Place owner George Maloof. “We’ve created a resort atmosphere unlike anything on or off the Las Vegas Strip.”
