Extend a blow out, or shampoo less to be easy on the dye job. Either way you’ve got a bit of oily tresses to contend with. Here’s a quirky take on comparingthe usual solutions of baby powder, corn starch or Bumble and Bumble. But the real winner is the new Open Sundaes - Hair Powder.
So corn starch and baby powder is cheap, more natural, but on the downside it’s "white" and the worst part is that you smell like "baby powder."
Bumble and Bumble’sHair Powder is pricey, and potentially messy (because it comes in some fun colors). The mess is manageable if you only spray the product on your roots (and shake off any excess after it has dried). You’ll need to wash your hair before you go to bed, or you’ll end up with color stains on your pillows. Where this product kicks is that it infuses **hair with **amazing volume.
If the volume isn’t worth the price, then here’s my latest find with Open Sundaes hair powder. Rather than white it comes in Lemon, Strawberry or Chocolate Shakes. It’s a good thing the package says "this product is not edible, do not eat!" because it smells that good. Corn starch, but with silk protein, other goodies, and a subtle dash of color is just the recipe for my ‘in between shampoo’ shake downs.
