I have to admit I never really paid much attention to Elizabeth Arden beyond Eight Hour Cream. But starting with the release of **Red Door Velvet**, which was surprisingly delicious, I sat up and took notice. Recently there have been some really nice collections with gorgeous compacts and palettes (and also Prevage, which has gotten a ton of press).
The glowy, shimmery Everything Glows collection for Holiday 2007 follows suit with a pretty eye palette, dual-color lip gloss, and a great shimmer powder:• Everything Glows Compact for Eyes - a gleaming silver case filled with five shimmery shades of Color Intrigue Eyeshadow. **Of course**, I'm loving that middle shade! • Everything Glows Lip Gloss Duo - *Beauty Addict Pick* - Two coordinating lip glosses in a mirrored (score!) compact. Shades are sheer, white-silver Shimmer and shimmering rose Shine. Shimmer is perfect for adding a little sparkle over lipstick, or for highlighting the center of your lip. • **Shimmer Powder - *Beauty Addict Pick* - sheer pink champagne highlighter in a pretty compact, and it comes with a Kabuki brush!• Elizabeth Arden Mediterranean - Hmmm, Mediterranean is more of a summer scent to me, so I'd pair this with **Red Door Velvet. But, Mediterranean is a pretty scent, and I love the bottle...the hammered silver cap and deep turquoise glass remind me of Santorini (although that's in the Aegean, not the Mediterrean, but it's close).
The Everything Glows collection will be available at Elizabeth Arden counters in October 2007.
