8. Drink Coffee
Yes, yes, I know, you do not have to tell me- it’s not exactly good for you. However, when I need to stay awake, it is definitely my fix. Sure, there are other ways and I am going to give you some of the other ways.
7. Eat Properly
Good food is like gasoline – it will help you keep going. Therefore, it is important to make sure you eat properly. Also, eating properly is going to give you more brainpower, which you need. You can’t get energy by eating those doughnuts and all the other junk food. You need good food!
6. Get Lots of Fresh Air
As soon as you start to feel that tired feeling sinking in, go outside and get some fresh air. When I start to feel that feeling, I hook my dog up on the leash and go for a walk – that will be sure to wake you up.
5. Crank the Air up
Warm temperature can make you even more sluggish. So, if you need to stay awake, crank the AC up. Many people recommend this one, but sometimes, when I get cold, I find myself wanting to go crawl under the covers. However, in the dead of summer, the AC would definitely give me some energy.
What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. 4. Light Exercise Breaks
Have you ever thought of taking some light exercise breaks in the middle of your day? I mean, I can do this, because I am my boss and run my own company and understand that many can’t do this. However, during your lunch time, perhaps you can do some light exercise.

3. A Good Laugh
When I start to feel groggy, I open up Youtube and watch a funny video. My friend, Aprille’s husband has some hilarious Youtube videos, which I recommend you watching.
2. Music
Music always seems to be my inspiration and is a sure way to wake me up. So, the next time you are feeling a bit on the tired side, pop in one of your favourite songs and see if that wakes you up.
1. Pull down on Your Earlobes
This might sound a bit on the strange side, but pulling down on your earlobes can wake you up. It can make you feel more alert. No questions asked, just gently do it. Does it work for you?
Some have told me that when you are feeling drowsy, just take your tongue and rub it against the top front area of your mouth cavity. This is going to feel strange, but it is a irritating nerve jolt. Those are 8 ways to stay awake. What do you do to keep awake?
