Besides, surely, they have heard about the health risks before. Also, if you drink, you can’t tell someone about the health risks if you do the same thing. They will only tell you that you do it too.

There is no denying that drug use has an effect on the people around the user. Sit down, without pointing fingers, and tell the individual about how their drug use is affecting you. Maybe this will help them see the light of day.

Get on with it, grow a backbone and stand up to them. If you just write a letter, they will think that you’re just being a jerk. When you talk face to face, they will see that you care and that you’re not being a jerk.

Why do people do drugs? I don’t know. Sometimes, people just do it for the heck of it. They do it because they want to have fun in their life or they do it because they hate their life. For whatever reason, take them along with you and show them that they can have fun without drugs.

Stop judging them and realize how confused and anxious they are feeling. Realize that they’re not doing it all on purpose. Realize that certain drugs can take over the body. They really hook the person and make them dependent on it. It’s not their fault. It’s sad when someone takes heavy medication for pain, then when the pain is over, they find that they are addicted and reliant on the stuff. This is different from when a person picks up a beer and gets addicted to it on their own. Either way, realize they have feelings to.
