I love the color palette that they chose for this line. The beautiful flowing of dresses in many of their creations was also something that caught my eye! Can't wait to see their spring line! What will they have in store for us?

2. Hannah MacGibbon

She sure has a way with taking a boyish look and making it ultra feminine! The trench coat belongs in the race this season and I love these designs. Thank goodness it is finally cool enough where I live to pull out the overcoats!

3. Frank Sorbier

Though this particular creation is a little over-the-top for my taste, I do like the basic design of many of his outfits. Pictured is one of my favorites. Also, among my favorite was a fitted black dress with fringed jacket top! I really like the way designers have incorporated a feminine touch to all the designs this season, whether with bows, lace, ruffles, soft material.

4. Jean Paul Gaultier

Though his hairstyles are outlandish, and many of his clothing designs weird or skimpy, I was most impressed with this creation bringing a bit of the vintage look into play. The furs and this green works so well together! Reminds me of something Lucille Ball would have worn! Bright colors, feminine styles, and a retro, vintage appeal fits in with all the trends this year. I love them all!

5. Elie Saab

Elie's work is probably one of my top favorites. He has a beautiful, sexy, very feminine way about his designs that draw me! I love sparkles and long flowing dress that make you look as if you're floating on air! This red dress is particularly beautiful! So let your girl power show through with a few pieces from Elie.

Let's celebrate womanly curves! That's what this designer is doing! Many of Vuitton's designs were instant winners with me. The entire line conformed to the voluptuous womanly figure in a modest, decent way!

7. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli's for Valentino

Are you looking for another gorgeous example of the soft, feminine touch in clothing? Valentino's line is spot on! Ruffles, lace, feminine material, it is all here in this fabulous line! The designs from this collection are pure girl, pure elegance, and pure fun.

There aren't too many ladies out there who don't love fashion. Maybe your are not obsessed with clothing, but what you wear is important and it's a decision everyone must make every day. Do you have a favorite designer? What were your favorites this year?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

As Saab is actually one of my favorite designers, I know he is a male designer. I follow him closely. It was truly a typo that was an accident made in the wee hours of a late night when the computer screen blurred my vision. I apologize.

Ellie Saab is a male designer

Give her a break, shereen. Do you realize these ladies spend time in the wee hours of the morning writing these articles? She probably just typed "she" and "her" by mistake because she had all these pictures of lovely, young ladies.
