7. Yoshi from Super Mario

I love how he walks around with Mario on his back sticking out his tongue with a click of the button. If you want him to eat a little bad guy, just stick out his tongue and you get a coin out of it. Whenever it comes to playing Mario Kart or any other Mario game where you get to select your character, I like to choose Yoshi. He’s one cool green dude!

6. Master Chief from Halo

Okay, some of you may not know this guy, but Master Chief is the main guy in Halo. He’s a fictional playable character in Halo 2 and Halo 3. He is voiced by Steve Downes who is a Chicago disc jockey.

5. Chris Redfield from Resident Evil

He’s a fictional character in Resident Evil. He is 1 of the 2 main characters in Resident Evil, the other is Jill Valentine. He returned in Resident Evil Code: Veronica as being a playable character where he plays alongside Sheva Alomar on the search for his sister.

4. Altair from Assassins Creed

Altair is a fictional character from Assassins Creed. He is first shown attempting to get an artifact from Solomon’s Temple, which is unknown to him at the moment. Some do not like this character and would argue with me on this one, but I think he’s cool.

3. Pikachu from Pokemon

I just had to list this one! Who here doesn’t like this yellow with black striped character? Who here doesn’t know who Pikachu is? Even if you do not play the games, you probably know him. This is one of my daughter's favorite characters.

2. The Paladin from World of Warcraft

This one was a toss up between The Hunter and The Mage. The Paladin, Hunter and the Mage are three of my favorite characters from World of Warcraft. For those of you who play World of Warcraft, you probably know why I picked them.

1. Pyramid Head from Silent Hill

I can’t leave out this one! He is one of my favorite characters. He is a fictional monster from Silent Hill. He was introduced in Silent Hill 2. He serves as a symbol of anger and guilt over murdering his wife. Every time you hear the sirens, Pyramid Head is near!

So there you have 7 cool video game characters. All of them are from games that I like to play. Right now, my husband and I have been playing Resident Evil together, which is fun. Oh yeah and we can’t forget about World of Warcraft and Super Mario. So, what are your favorite characters?
