You don’t HAVE to make a home made batch, but I promise, your children will always remember the smell of cookies greeting them at the front door. Try it on time and watch the smiles on kid’s faces!

You can buy whole grain chips or even those healthy baked crackers and serve them with salsa. Or, if you are adventurous, make a batch of home made salsa for a wholesome, fresh snack. Quick, easy, healthy, and good!

Peanut Butter Brownies

Peanut butter is full of protein and protein builds your blood sugar levels and provides energy for those busy little muscles. Make the brownies with applesauce instead shortening. Now there’s a healthy alternative!

Fruit and Dip

Try caramel, chocolate, and marshmallow fondue. Or stick to something traditional: peanut butter! You kids will eat plenty of fruit if they have the right kind of dips to entice them! I know sugar is involved, but how else can you get your kids to eat their fruit without complaining?

Veggies and Dip

Another sneaky way to entice your kids to eat their veggies is to give them their favorite dip. We love Ranch and eat it with all our veggies. You can even buy the dip cups, but you save money by using the regular bottle and pouring into little, cute cups.

I can hear you know! “What is she thinking?" But you can add all kinds of healthy add-ins to a milk shake. Fruit, yogurt, protein powder, and granola can be sprinkled on top. Also, peanut butter is nice, drizzled with chocolate syrup. Serve them in fancy glasses for an extra trear. MMMmmm…

Make your own with fruit and your kids will thank you for it. They get to enjoy a cool refreshing treat and mom can enjoy the thought of sneaky, tricky fruit servings. It’s the best of both worlds!

What do you serve your children when they come home from school? What is your child’s favorite snack?

lovely. I make a dip of sour curd with a pinch of salt, blackpepper powder and little sugar for fruits and veggie.

Love this! I'm gonna try it :)
