Yves Saint Laurent’s Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara is one of relatively new top ranking mascaras from this luxurious designer range. The product claims to create results similar to the effect of false lashes, but let’s see if it really does!

My Experience:
In my opinion this mascara is definitely one of the most effective. However, it only did as much as mascara can do to create false lashes! I don’t think I looked like I was wearing false lashes, but there was definitely volume, curve and the colour stayed intact all day. I could see results from the first application. I think the brush is well designed. It felt sleek and my lashes had a nice, thick glossy coat without any clumping. Overall, I would rate this product very highly and the only thing I would change is it’s name – as it created a dramatic effect but it wasn’t quite magical!
