Shame on you girls who are like that. Right now, I am going to give you 8 tips on moving in together …

You should never toss your hobbies out. Unless, of course, you are one hundred percent sure that your hobby is going to get in your way of the marriage, for example: porn. Then again, your hobbies should not involve porn in the first place. If your hobby involves gaming, football, gardening or anything else, continue doing it, except make sure there is some time for the both of you in there and don’t be so obsessive about it.

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I din't get why should I be ASHAMED if I don't like video games.........it is entirely my choice......why should others like you would decide if it is something I must like or not? My husband is a hardcore gamer and he din't supressed his liking as compromising once liking is like torture unless it is negative in someway. We are happy together with our this so called huge difference.I have seen in your most post related to gaming you have looked down upon on us who are not into gaming......It may be your opinion but I am at least not ashamed of my not liking it and I don't think I should be.

I don't think any of your posts sound like your looking down on girls that don't play video games your just saying it helps when you share that interest since with guys that a big part of their lives but I think this is a great post

@zura thank you for what you said I totally agree with you and by what I said I didn't think any one would take it so offensively but I see their views also as true

Shakti, sorry if I offended you. I see you've been paying attention to my blogs and thanks for quoting me throughout all those gaming blogs. lol. I'm sorry if I ever offend you - I don't mean to. We have our own opinions and I don't view gaming as a waste of time. lol - not when it's dark outside or raining and there's nothing else better to do. Gaming is something I like to do, but I also enjoy playing with my little girl outside, my pets, shopping and much more. @ Squee - Thank you. I'm not looking down on anyone. Sometimes, I feel they look down on me with the harsh words they say or comments they make - you know, like making it sound like gamers or lazy or whatever.

I think one point you're missing, yukaiumi, is that gaming *is* what those people enjoy in life. You might enjoy taking a nature hike...if someone else doesn't enjoy that, does it mean it's a waste of time? Of course not! I understand the point Shakti is making about not wanting to be looked down upon just because you don't enjoy gaming, but in the same light, don't look down on other people just because they do. It's hypocritical, to say the least!
