You do Not Have to Get an Abortion

Some teens believe that their only option would be an abortion. While I say it is your decision and the boyfriend has some say in it, you should really think about it. You can survive having a child and you will be able to take care of the child if you have your priorities right.

As a pregnant teen, it is important to consider all of your options. Abortion is one option, but you should also consider adoption or raising the baby yourself. It is possible to raise a child while still in school, as long as you have the support of family and friends. You should also consider the financial and emotional commitment that comes with raising a child. There are numerous resources available to help you make an informed decision, including counseling and support groups. Ultimately, the choice is yours and it is important to make the decision that is best for you and your baby.

You Don’t Have to Hide It

When teens are pregnant, they try to hide it. Sometimes, they go on “vacations” for nine months to a relative’s house where they have the child. You do not have to hide it from your friends. It is nothing to be ashamed of. Sure, it may be a symbol of a mistake you made, but it’s a mistake you will not regret when it gets here.

Pregnancy can be a difficult time for teens, but it doesn’t have to be. It is important for pregnant teens to reach out to their family and friends for support. There are many resources available to pregnant teens, such as online support groups, pregnancy centers, and counseling services. Additionally, teens should take care of their physical health by eating nutritious meals, exercising regularly, and getting enough rest. It is also important to take time to relax and practice self-care. Finally, teens should make sure to stay up to date on prenatal care visits and follow any instructions given by their doctor.

You Can Still Go to School

When I was in high school, do you know how many pregnant girls I knew? They still chose to go to school. Yes, there were some who quit and then we later found out they got pregnant, but you should definitely continue schooling. If not, then there is another option.

Try for a GED

The other option would be to get your GED. If you do not go to school, then at least go and get your GED. Again, this is your decision, so whatever you decide should be right for you.

You Don’t Need to Get Married

Just because you are pregnant does not mean you need to get married. This may be the reason behind a lot of divorces. They get married because the girl was pregnant. You should only get married if you can see the two of you together in the future. If you get married, then that is great, the two of you can start your family early and grow together.

Make Sure You Tell Your Parents

When you find out that you are pregnant, you should tell your parents. Don’t try to hide it from them. This is a time in your life when you will be scared and the parents should be the people you can go to.

1

Don’t Feel Depressed

Most of all, you should not feel depressed. The baby can feel that. You need to be healthy so that the baby can be healthy. Make sure you eat the right foods and go to the doctor. Cheer up and know that in nine months or less, you will have a true blessing.

While I do not recommend purposely getting pregnant as a teenager, especially when you do not have a job, I know that sometimes, things happen. As I said, it’s not the end of the world and there is still hope. Now, it’s time to start learning about babies! It’s an exciting time, no matter how old you are, so you should enjoy it and learn from your “mistakes.” All through life, we learn from our mistakes. I was born in 1985, I got married in October of 2003 and had a little girl in June of 2004. I will let you do the math there and today, I have no regrets and am happier than ever. So, what about you? Do you have something to tell?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I'm 15 and pregnant. I told my boyfriend and he is being very supportive. The only person I have yet regret to tell is my mother. I wanna tell her but I'm just very scared of the reaction I might get from her. Me and my boyfriend are trying to figure out how to tell her together. Does anyone have any tips?

I'm 15 and 31 weeks pregnant. The first people i told were both my boyfriend's and My parents. To my surprise they were very support, at first my dad was very angry but he calmed down, and when i told my boyfriend his face had turned as white as a ghost. He said out loud to himself "I'm going to be a father?" and that put a smile on my face. Knowing that hes here will make my pregnancy a lot easier. I do know a lot of single moms and they've all told me its really hard. I'm kind of scared but then again very happy. Do you have any tips for when my little girl & boy arrives. (I am having Twins!), i am also getting married, I'm so happy.

I'm 16 and so is my boyfriend. I lost my virginity to him over a month ago and we had sex again about 3 weeks ago. He used a condom both times. The first time he didn't ejaculate at all because it was my first time & it didn't go so smoothly lol. But the second time he did. He had a condom on but it kept slipping off. He ended up ejaculating inside of me with the condom on. So right now I'm 6 days late for my period. Last night I was nauseous and vomiting. My stomach feels really tight & uncomfortable. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative but I did it wrong. It said don't tilt it upwards at all during the whole test and I didn't read that till afterwards. I'm soo scared! I really hope I'm not pregnant I'm a junior in high school

Well first off. I am 15 and pregnant. My boyfriend is 21, and yes you may all say he will get introuble but the state already closed the case. I am 4 mnths and 1 week pregnant. Pretty soon i will find out what my lil angel is. But i am havinq a hard time with my online schoolinq. I want to get my GED but i cnt until im 16. I am workinq a full time job. and i dnt turn 16 until november. I live in ohio and there is really no programs that will help me where i am located. Should i drop out and wait to get my GED until im 16?

im not pregnant. im fourteen in 8th grade. my boyfriend is in tenth grade. hes fifteen. i want to loosey virginity to him so badly. we love eachother sooo much. my family loves him. but, what if i get pregnant? idk what i'd do! i live with my aunt and uncle and i talk to my mom. i dont talk to my dad. but i feel like im ready. i dont know how to get birth control or condoms! i mean i know my boyfriend would get condoms, but i want to just in case. my aunt is always saying any kind of sex is not okay. i had oral sex with him. we've been together for a year and a half. he said if i got pregnant, he would be there for me and tell my family for me. i'm scared though & thats the only thing im scared about. im very mature and all my family feels like im older than i actually am. i feel that way too. how do i get birth control without my parents knowing? i live in MD. i'm totally ready though so please don't be rude!! please!

ok, so here's my story. I'm 18, and i'm pregnant, with my 3rd child. Yes I know say what you want there's not enough room to go into detail about it. But I am happily in love with my boyfriend of 4 years. he's the father of all the kids, and a great one at that. he's 20. We're both working, but we are both dropouts. I dropped out to get my ged but by the time i did i had found out i was pregnant again. My 2nd prego i ended up with toxemia and preeclamsyia, the pediatrician called me an unfit mom because my daughter was so little, like it was my fault just because i was a teen at the time. long story short, they ended up putting my babies in foster care. Even though my whole life revolved around those kids. I'm very close to getting them back, I've worked hard, I only need a couple things done, but now that i'm pregnant, i'm scared to tell the social worker, because I don't want this to affect me getting my kids back and rasing my family. I'm scared to death I won't get them back, or that they'll try and take this one. I do plan on going back and getting my education whenever I start having free time. In the mean time, I just want to be a mommy again. Any advice? I'm thinking of just telling my lawyer first, and maybe it shouldn't be a big deal as long as i can provide a good home.
