Catherine McNeil is the hot ticket on the mind of every power player in the fashion industry. The barely legal model is said to be "the next Kate Moss or Gisele Bundchen." Catherine has secured a six month contract and will be starring in a Versace campaign this August, next to Kate Moss. This is all in addition to the opening of the Givenchy show in Paris. McNeil, a native of Australia, is a classic beauty who even has some curves. The newcomer already has done 34 shows and has walked runways in Paris, Milan and New York. Mario Testino, who discovered McNeil, is very happy:
"I think Catherine has got what it takes to be an amazing model. That's why I've put her on an exclusive contract. It's one thing to spot someone early in their career--I'm never afraid to take risks on a new girl--but it's a great luxury to be able to develop what starts as an instinct and turns into a rich working relationship. It means we'll have time to make some fantastic photographs together." Mario gushes.
The thing is with these models, everyone is looking for the 'Next Kate Moss' so they get these girls hopes up and when they fail to reach that goal, what happens to them? I'm not saying this girl couldn't be the next big thing, only time will tell, but not many people reach super model status.
