good evening! oh how appropriate that on the 5th season premiere of nip/tuck (yes i'm mr. broken record) that i'm posting about rosie o'donnell who will be reprising her guest role from the 4th season as 'dawn budge' - one of the best celebrity guest star characters ever - i can't wait to see what her character will be up to this season - and more importantly will she sleep with 'dr. troy' again? (played by the delicious julian mcmahon) anyways ms. o'donnell stopped by martha stewart's daytime talk show to celebrate halloween - rosie was dressed as 'queen elizabeth' (pictured below along w/ some quotes) while martha went with a more simple greek goddess outfit! (by the end of the episode which airs tomorrow (oct 31st) she goes from goddess to glampire!) ms. o'donnell's appearance on martha's show also marks her first television appearance since leaving the view and all that drama behind her! i so miss those crazy days - i haven't watched that show once since rosie left - like i've said before i'm not always her biggest fan - but you have to admit she for sure always kept things interesting & buzzworthy! popbytes over & out for tonight - xxoo!
martha and rosie on rosie's queen elizabeth costume:
ms: who made this pearl studded, jewel encrusted gorgeous dress?
rd: martha, i threw it together last night! i can hardly walk. i don't know how queens do this. and by that, i mean gay men too.
rosie on her former executive producer/martha's current executive producer, bernie young:
ms: look at bernie all dressed up!
rd: i would like to say that it does feel mildly annoying that for six years when he was the executive producer on my show, he never once dressed up for halloween!
ms: you know, you could give him lashes. you are the queen.
rd: that's right! and i shall do it during the commercial break.
rosie on working with martha on 'the martha stewart show':
ms: we asked rosie to join us here, but she wanted too much money.
rd: you could have got me for the view rate.
ms: who knows, we may revisit it.
rd: we'll revisit it, because frankly, i'm unemployed martha stewart.
rosie on her greatest weakness during the holiday season:
rd: for a mother of four, from halloween to thanksgiving, it is a living hell in my home.
ms: everybody's bouncing off the wall?
rd: no - mommy is in bed; trying to go to sleep; thinking: there is an almond joy one flight down. i go through those kid's candy bags like you can't believe.
rosie and martha on global warming:
rd: what do you think of global warming?
ms: i think it's a real problem.
rd: me too. you know how i know it's a real big problem? last week, my kids were in the pool - in october in new york.
