Kara Saun is mostly known for her participation on one of my favorite shows in the whole wide world, Project Runway, but she was more than an amateur designer before her association with the television show. Kara Saun has had experience with shows like Eve, America's Next Top Model, and R U the Girl on UPN, What I like About You on the WB, and Malcolm & Eddie ( her start in costume designing).
Kara was my favorite designer on Project Runway primarily because I wanted to wear EVERYTHING she made on the show. She was also a crowd favorite because she was undisturbed by the pressure of each challenge and the wacky personalities of the other contestants.
Kara's pieces stand out because her clothes fit a woman's body admirably. Her use of leather, fur, and lace exhibit her supreme talent. She definitely deserved to be the winner of Project Runway because she will probably be a legend, but I'm sure her exposure has made her a success. I hope to see more of Kara Saun's pieces and hopefully soon we can shop her collections.
