Celebrity Purse Event: The Fourth Annual P.S. Arts Bag Lunch
The fourth annual silent auction P.S. Arts Bag Lunch at Colleen Bell's Bel-Air home with 200 of her fashion-conscious friends took place last week, which raised a whopping $180,000 for programs that restore arts education in local public schools.
"You could feel the frenzy," said L.A. socialite Colleen Bell, who hosted the fourth annual P.S. Arts Bag Lunch at her Bel-Air home with Elizabeth Stewart from The New York Times and C Magazine's George Kotsiopoulos. "Most of the guests got to the door and were like, 'Hi, hello, where are the bags?' "
The items that were up for auction were designer purses donated by everyone who attend this event, such as Fendi, Tory Burch, Chanel and Jimmy Choo that were marked up to 60 percent off the retail price.
