Flash Back to the 80s and Win an Anniverary Pair of Reeboks ...

Ahh, the 80's. A time when my hair was feathered and yet I still had very curled bangs. A time when I wore Silver City Pink lipstick and blue eyeshadow. Sigh. I miss those days. But Reebok has gotten me waxing nostalgic because this is the 25th Anniversary of the Freestyle shoe. Can you believe it!??

When aerobics hit the scene, everyone had to have these high top sneakers, with the velco, so we could go to step class and get physical, physical, I wanna get physical, let's get into physical, let me hear your body talk...sorry, I got carried away. This shoe came out in 1982 and made Reebok a player in the athletic shoe market. Everyone from Ms. Olympia Cory Everson, who won the contest from 1984-1989, wore them to the Laker Girls to Cybill Shepard's bright orange pair at the 1985 Oscars. I even remember copying TV's Punky Brewster who wore different colored Freestyles on each foot.

A quarter of a center later, Reebok was at the 2007 Kids' Choice Awards to showcase this 25th Anniversary style as well as to promote it's amazing non-profit work with Soles4Souls, an organization that gives footwear to those in need, such as Katrina victims and the Thailand tsunami.

Reebok was on site to enlist the celebrities' help with this organization and in their name gave a set of footwear, from baby to infant to child, to a needy person and family. And as a thank you, Reebok offered this Hi Metallic Sheen pair of Freestyles to the ladies at the show. And now we want you to have this same pair that stars like Emma Roberts, Hayden Panetierre, Paula Abdul and more received. AND this style still hasn't been released to the public yet, so enter and be the first on your block to have this flashy pair.

Visit Swagtime.com's homepage to enter! Sweepstakes runs through midnight April 21, 2007. Note this pair is a women's size 8 and cannot be exchanged.
