I hate to be cliché and trust me I want to start smacking people around when I hear stuff like this but -- gray is the new black for Fall 2008. MAC's Trend Spot write up during New York Fashion Week declared that purple and gray are the colors to have your eyes this coming Fall.
If you want to capture this trend here are some great products for you:

**Urban Decay Matte Eyeshadow **If you want color that goes on just like you see it in the container then Urban Decay is perfect for you. When I was in high school I bought a bright blue (I was in high school remember) from Urban Decay and that sucker went on bright! Probably a bit too bright for the way I was applying it but still.
