Chances are, if you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, you’ve discovered how many amazing apps there are, for all sorts of things, from playing the pan flute to talking like a robot to tracking sports scores. But a check of my own iPhone apps reveals how much I love movies - I have more than a dozen movie apps on my phone! All of them are available on iTunes, and best of all, they were free… here are 7 great movie apps for the iPhone…

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used this app to tell me who that actor is from that movie, you know, the one about the guy in the shirt… or that actress who looks so familiar, but I can’t remember her name. I’ve even used it to settle movie-related disagreements… it’s so handy!

Find out what’s playing, when, and where, then buy your tickets with this handy, easy-to-use movie app for your iPhone. I’ve been using Fandango for years on my PC, and now I can use it on the go… sweet! Don’t have an iPhone? No worries… you can use it on your iPad instead.
4. Blockbuster

I love the interactivity between the Moviefone app and Facebook. It lets you share movie times and info with friends and family, and get instant feedback from them. It’s also loaded with information about all of your favorite stars, movies, and more!
7. Movies by Flixster, with Rotten Tomatoes

I adore Rotten Tomatoes, and I almost always agree with their rating and review system, so I’m thrilled that I can take RT with me everywhere I go! You can browse movies, buy them instantly through iTunes, and even play fun trivia games. Cool!
